I've been allowing myself to become obsessive of late. It's not good, probably, but I can't seem to help it. Like, after the fiancee purchased the big Beatles box it became the only thing I listened to, and am only now pulling myself out of that (easing into some Smashing Pumpkins & They Might Be Giants), but while it had me fully in it's grasp I was browsing (the 9000) books at Borders and renting the Anthology series and downloading the Mono box to listen to songs back to back (mono=amazing).

Just recently I started this space-kick. Rented From the Earth to the Moon and, half way through the first episode, added Apollo 13 and The Right Stuff to my Netflix queue. And reading Wiki articles about every person and piece of equipment shown. It's weird. Weird.

Of course, the other thing I'm obsessing about is my pending move to The Lucky Country and looking for any corners I can cut or shortcuts to finding cash to sock away (no luck).

Bah, I'm totally missing my show.

I think that's just like, a Beatles thing. I got pretty darn immersed too. It was nuts. Now I can enjoy the Beatles without feeling compelled to listen to it all, though I do wind up going through Abbey Road like weekly now just because if I don't, I might die.
