I hate my family. Have I ever mentioned that? I do. I mean, I love them and all, but I hate them too. Not to bitch and complain but I'm very much a second class citizen in my own home and I'm quite sick of it.
But that's not what I came to blog. I'm not looking for pity points. No, I came to talk about the start of the 100 movies project. I said I'd start soon after the
girlfriend fiancee left and I'm doing just that. While she was here we watched(ish) one of the worst movies I've ever seen, the Oz made "
Houseboat Horror" (I remember very little about it) and, the day after she left, I mucked with my Netflix list and moved
#95 The Last Picture Show (1971) #97 Blade Runner (1982) (Final Cut version) and
#98 Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942) to the top of the queue. I already own
#96 Do The Right Thing (1989) and
#99 Toy Story (1995) while
#100 Ben-Hur (1959) is available for Netflix Streaming. So, I guess I can start today or tonight or something. I'm considering one line reviews and star ratings (as considering it's the "best American movies of all time" list), so we'll see how that goes.

I'd quite enjoy the short reviews. One line or a few lines, whatever you prefer doing.
I think I'll do them in chunks of five and keep them on one post.
Houseboat Horror is, without a doubt, the most appallingly dreadful movie ever. The mere fact it made it to DVD makes me laugh.
